How is its camera quality by comparing with such as Samsung A16?

$199 is the price if you have AT&T or Verizon. $299 if you want it unlocked without having to deal with the workaround OP posted.

Cancelling when the phone ships is sketchy and I don't think I'd be able to trust the reliability of that. The consequences are being locked into a contract vs $100 off a phone, I might just pay the extra $100 to avoid the $1000 + risk.

How about that ordering the phone to cancel and keep the phone is stealing?

Might not be stealing but doesn't seem or feel right.

There is no contact, you are on the hook for one months pay if you are not able to do it right.

You could have got the one from Total Wireless for $160 total (with port in). You would have had to wait 60 for unlock but it would have cost about half of what you paid. And it's the newer 2024 model. https://slickdeals.net/f/18243478-motorola-razr-2024-2mo-total-wireless-160?attrsrc=JFYCarousel%3APosition%3A3%7CJFYCarousel%3AType%3Athread&src=jfy

This is the plus model, not the regular one so comes with snapdragon etc.

From another commenter on that post. Might need to take this into account if you mind:

"Basically if you buy this phone from best buy or moto direct etc - you get a "RET US" firmware (Retail USA). If you buy it from a provider like Total - you get an MVNO firmware that has a bunch of loaded bloatware, and your updates are tied to the total wireless / mvno chain, as opposed to the basic non bloated firmware chain."

That's not the plus model. It has a completely different chipset. The snapdragon 8 gen 1 outperforms the 7300 by a pretty big margin

Just tried the $200 option with AT&T, charging full price
