Great prices for ALL veterans and it's tax free. Also, if you use your military Star credit card for the first time you'll save an additional 10% on everything you buy on the first day.

Would anything prevent my brother in law, retired Army, from buying this for me with my credit card?

Yes they verify orders are placed by the eligible people such as name and address on the order and credit card.

Before buying on AAFES, also look at Apple refurbished, which can be combined with the 10% military discount, so is often cheaper, with quicker shipping and a better return policy. So the refurb 13" M2 Macbook Air is now $638, and the 15" M3 is $917. Imac M3 is an incredible $836, and the newest Mac mini M4 is $458. Only drawback is sales tax, but you get the option to use Apple gift cards (effective 15% off through the latest Target deal) and to get Apple Pay 3% cash back. You just need to verify military status through id.me. I just bought the iphone 16e with my 10% military discount, discounted gift cards, and trade-in.

Not true. A couple of years ago, I bought some AirPods Pro using my sister's Shoyexchange account.

Well you might have slipped through the crack. I was recently asked to call in to verify my info on the order because my shipping address doesn't match the one on DEERS.

All with 8GB of RAM 😝. That's a hard no.

Military discount on Apple refurbished store is legitimately great. I've used it before. And the M4 Mini you listed is a good deal. But for a Macbook, you're not going to beat 25% off, with no tax, especially on a device that's already so competitively priced.

I caved and bought it. Need something for school but want a gaming rig. But handheld gaming is so prominent these days that I really don't even need a laptop for gaming anymore. The thinness and lightness of this makes it so perfect for lugging around a campus. And students typically get Microsoft OneDrive storage included with their enrollment these days so the storage really isn't much of an issue.

Last I checked, the Navy fell into those categories. I'm an Army Reservist, and buy from NEX all the time.

Got the 13" 512 last time. Kinda wish I got the 15", but need at least 512 storage. Unfortunately, all the good colors were gone by time I woke up, so got black. Would have ordered Starlight or maybe Blue.
