I bought this camera last week. Mid to low range daylight video quality, terrible at night. Don't let the "sony starvis!" Marketing fool you, this cam performs like the budget ones from 7 years ago

I installed (2) of these on my wife's SUV and my truck. Zero issues. Had the single camera one in my vehicles for the past 2 years, again with zero issues. Not sure what people are having issues with. My video is crystal clear both during the day and night.

Thanks for the deal. Always wanted one so I bought one. Amazon delivered early the next morning. Installation time took about 30 minutes (mostly hiding wires, but they give you a plastic prybar tool to help). Camera works great. Menus are similar to regular digital cameras. Running on 1080p 60fps. I am able to power this through a USB splitter/bluetooth adapter thing that I am currently using in my car. Super convenient.
Pro tip- Have audio recording and if you're ever in an accident or see one, just say the plate numbers and car descriptions out loud just as a backup in case the image is blurry or you dont see the plates in the video.

I have had it for a few months here in north Texas, using the included suction cup and it hasn't fallen off once. I did try sticking it to my toll tag, but that didn't work. Would have been nice. I probably could try that with sticking something like a tempered screen protector on the toll tag first.

A few reviews say the front quality on the R2-4K Pro is better than on the Dual, even though the Dual is newer. I just bought the Pro to take with me on trips, as a fairly small/cheap/well-rated camera that uses a suction mount, which makes it good enough and convenient enough to go in a rental car.
