Ok thanks! I think because I have Prime Visa (but am not currently subscribed to Prime as of a week ago) I'm not seeing it.
When you are not subscribed to Prime, you only get 3% off on purchases with Prime Visa. So probably a deal limited to active Prime Members only.
Yes you need an active prime membership for these discounts.

This worked great for my house which is only 1400sq, so I don't know about your application. I had the router almost in the middle of my house in the living room so your placement may vary also. You can try it and see, Amazon is easy to return.

I think this router's main selling point is the two 2.5Gig ports for people who upgraded their internet connection to over 1Gig and want to ultilize the faster speed.
Thanks, my house is similar. But I can't really place it in the center so well. anyways I think I'll test it out and hope it covers enough of the yard as well.

Thanks!

Isn't TPLink under some sort of investigation by the US fedral government for artificially lowering prices or something like that?

EDIT: I looked up more specifics on the web. Duck.ai says this: "The U.S. government is investigating TP-Link due to concerns over its ties to China and potential cybersecurity vulnerabilities, which may lead to a ban on its products. Additionally, there is a criminal antitrust investigation into the company's pricing strategies and market dominance in the U.S. router market."

Can I buy two of these (would I need to?) as a mesh? We move to a 3,000 sq ft house and I have a 6+ year old google mesh wifi system that works, but I'd like to upgrade and this seems like a good deal. I don't game heavily, but play xbox online from time to time and have a bunch of smart home devices if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for any help!
Edit: wow I didn't proofread

You can use two or more as a mesh:

https://www.tp-link.com/ae/support/faq/3581/

You would definitely want two or more for 3000sq ft.

Is anyone concerned with the US government considering to ban all TP-LINK devices due to privacy concerns?

Order today. Delivered today. And returned today, after wasting my time setting it up. Extremely weak signal when trying to penetrate walls. Not recommended.

Yikes, this is disappointing! Thanks for sharing. What type of wall do you have? Concrete or just regular drywall interior walls?

I ordered one to try. It won't arrive until next week, wondering if I should cancel as I want it to be as good with coverage as my current "8000P Nighthawk X6S AC4000 Tri Band WiFi Router"

Last 8-10 years have been exceptionally good use of Asus and Linksys w6/6e running on openwrt, strictly AP.

Regular drywall, poor signal for smart home devices (2.4GHz) and significantly reduced speeds on my phone (5 GHz). I'd cancel it. I was also hoping it'll be an improvement over my triband AX4200 eero Pro 6, but it wasn't. I think I'll need to wait for a good offer on the eero 7 Pro/Max
