Yes, this is the great scam. Companies exit businesses or go out of business and somebody buys the brand name and then put it on a whole bunch of low-end stuff. Even with retailers. RadioShack and Bed Bath & beyond still exist in name only. GE appliances are owned and made by a Chinese company.

You just need to get a new Roku stick if you're fine with the tv quality.
Xumo is limited on what's loaded is what you get. Works good enough though. I got my girlfriend the 50" a few months ago and the picture quality is solid for $150 and threw a Roku ultra I had laying around on it. Happy with the tv.
