If not this specifically, one of the other 8 million that I've seen recently on sd!

N95 - N97 - N100

These can probably do up to PS2/GameCube comfortably. Forget about PS3 or Switch.

This one is only 12GB RAM and 256GB and got frontpage, 172 likes and 250 comments, for me the 16GB and 512GB SSD is better deal, am I missing something?

5% faster for the N97 for multi thread.

Different processor....but other than that, you're not missing anything. Besides, there's way too much excitement about these no-name, knock-off mini pc's! They've generated many complaints regarding problems with reliability and for these "ghost" companies that don't even provide US phone numbers and may or may not provide a satisfactory resolution via email! These are risky purchases (with warranties that may not even be worth the cost of the paper they're printed on)! However, at low prices (for basic purposes, like this one), they're not as much of a risk. You don't want to spend hundreds of dollars (as a power-user) for what might become a cute little throw-away in a much shorter period of time than you anticipated!....but at least these little things are more convenient to throw out of a window!

According to the Amazon "bot", this model includes Windows 11....but I couldn't find it anywhere in the description, so I'm not convinced. Some of these do, some don't. Regardless, you can certainly install Windows 11 Pro on any of these mini-pc's.

FYI - I have an older version of a similar device from this company - and Windows 11 doesn't detect the TPM 2.0 chip. So you end-up having to use their version W11 or go through some other "tricks".

Either way - they haven't resolved it - the solution is use our version of W11;

That being said - on the surface, it's as clean as it gets - no bloatware you get with a Dell, HP, or Lenovo laptop. It's vanilla windows. Not sure if there's any spyware

I thought n97 was higher performance than n100, though slightly less efficient. Do you have info on what makes the n100 a step up from the n97?

The 12GB one has DDR5. This one is DDR4. Have done the comparison, but guessing 12GB DDR5 will run better than 16GB DDR4.

They are all within a few percent difference the biggest difference is turbo and GPU. The n97 i believe has 2x TDP of the n95. Then there is the n150 which is again a few percent difference. I specifically use the n95 because I can get them to idle at 6w a d I use them for low power kube nodes including nvme and a ssd in it. They are amazing low power boxes for servers.
