I was just in my local Lowes and these were on clearance for $49.97. After powering them on, these are version LCL007 and already had the latest firmware on them..

Thanks OP. I might purchase as a backup for when my base kit dies. We've been operating the kitchen under cabinet Hue lights for 8 years now, and they will go dud eventually.

Please stop posting Hue stuff as deals - even at 50% off they are way overpriced.
Their motion sensors are fast and flawless, and pair with Zigbee in HA without needing a Hue hub. The 2 pack for $60 is a nice deal for Costco members - even at $30 a piece they're a good deal IMO just for how well they work ceiling mounted for the bathroom lighting automations I use them for. Luminance and (accurate) room temperature as well.

Hue products are really reliable and have great color vibrancy. There's a reason they're popular even with the flood of decent cheaper alternatives. Just because you wouldn't like to pay for them doesn't mean nobody would like to see deals for Hue stuff

Have you looked at sensors and lights from Ikea, TP-Link or other brands?

I have a couple of Aqara motion sensors - they are on adjustable pivot mounts, which works better for larger areas where you need to isolate the motion sensing for direction/coverage area. I don't use smart lights, only switches, I have Lutron Casetas and Divas, as well as TP-Link WiFi switches.
