Make sure you take it with a healthy dose of K2. And with that in mind, excessive D3 can lead to excessive calcification as well, so consider taking some Magnesium Glycinate along with it.

get some sun. or get a prescription. my doctor sometimes has me take 50,000ui pills once a week for 4 weeks.

Yeah Un-natural Bounty is absolute garbage. Vit D3 should not have soybean oil , corn oil , glyceryn. People with chronic insufficiency diagnosis by serum assay often use oil-free Bio-Tech Phamacal made in U.S.A. Tiny nearly pure USP grade caps. Ask your pharmacist to order. Under $5 / 100 for me. People without chronic insufficiency can take one per week. No need to take daily. Get tested. You don't want to be above optimum D25OH level. I include K2 + fresh green juice.

edit: 2nd choice: Serum assay results show that I also respond well to Amazon ASIN : ‎ B00GB85JR4 NatureWise 360 caps 5000 I.u. for $10. U.S.A. made but no assurance on domestic ingredients.

Not entirely certain as I tend to take a different brand (Dr Berg's) with K2 and Mg already in it. That said I also take Mg in addition anyway.
