Bought service with this company through Amazon back in December. It took them over a month to ship the sim card, then when I went to activate it they said the iccid number didn't match their records for the purchase. Took three days of calls and many hours before someone was able to fix it. Each time they asked the exact same questions (Amazon order number, iccid, IMEI, my address for the phone number). In the end they didn't give me the area code I requested that they asked for in each of the calls.

YMMV, but I personally would not buy from this company, nor will I be staying with this company when my year is up.

FYI, I bought two one Verizon and one T-Mobile. I noticed that T-Mobile can have visual voicemail while Verizon cannot.

Not a lot of reviews on Amazon. But they have a bunch of other reviews for other plans with this company. I'll avoid right now as it seems customer service and port out are gripes, people complaining late model Samsungs aren't compatible (though perhaps they are locked phones?). If the service works it seems that people are mostly happy, but there are a lot of $15/month prepays out there.
This is $5/month, not $15.
What other 5gig plan is out there for that price?

I don't think has been answered before, or if it has I don't remember coming across the many Infimobile threads.

What is the renewal rate of these promo plans after the 12 month period expires? Does anyone have any experience renewing at the promo rate? (the 10GB for $99 is the most popular) - are people able to renew at the promo rate before expiration? Or do you go shopping for a new service carrier before the 12 months (pain). I'd certainly like to continue renewing if possible, but not an an exaggerated non-competitive rate.

Any experience? I can't be the only one asking or thinking this question.

Thanks!

Very poor network reception with the data barely working in-door. Even phones with mint and tello plans work like a charm. Extremely disappointed I got the yearly plan. Please save yourself.

What happens after 5GB is used before the end of one month period? Will they throttle to lower speed or simply cut off data? Thanks.

Not even Red Pocket and mine is running out this week so I'll probably get this as backup plan. for google voice and streaming some tunes.

Once you get it working, it's pretty solid, especially at this price. I did the $99/year deal about a year ago and have been pleased with it. I originally tried to use an unlocked S24 and was having trouble on Verizon (there was no warning against this previously). Switched to iphone after many support tickets and it worked like a charm. CS sucks as noted, but I'd buy again with iphone.

If you look at the ad, these 5GB data are $15/month. Normal price for most carriers are in the similar price range.
Most of the small MVNO's offer deep discount for the first year just to lure you in. Once you're with them, there is no incentive for them to give you the promo rate again after 1 year. They probably either count on you to stay because almost everywhere is $15/month, or probably will make it harder so you don't want to deal with port out.
