It will technically work in a dashcam. Should you actually use it in a dashcam? No. Find an SD card that is marketed as a high endurance card.
I've personally had issues with Samsung cards in certain devices. Most recently I had one in my TrimUI Brick and it didn't like the Samsung card at all. Had to swap it to another device that had a PNY card and it worked fine. There were other reports of people having issues with legit Samsung cards and it wasn't a formatting problem.

This exactly.. Tried few different cards and all have had issues in my dashcams except the Samsung Pro Edurance cards...

The real question is the usage rate. If you are using this in a digital camera or as additional storage in a phone (lucky you for having a phone that still has MicroSD card support), you are probably fine. In a constant read/write environment, consider paying a bit more for a Samsung card.
But absolutely stay away from the real budget no/random named budget Chinese cards. I have never seen one hit the advertised read/write rates, and the failure rates are concerning if I cared about any data stored on them. I suspect this will change as China's tech sector continues to advance. But, they are not there yet.

Yeah nintendo had to stick it to us with those sd cards. I wonder if this works still just not at the speed of the official switch one. Im okay with minor load times
