How can they claim the bundled 1year service is "unpaid"? That's absurd. They didn't give it away for free, it was added into the price of the phone.

The 2 flip phones I want to give them to my grandson and granddaughter, they're just kids and my son does not want them having smart phones. I still have my previous Tracfones laying in a box for emergencies or to give away to anyone that has a crappier phone and can use them.

Not sure you're going to get a definitive answer right now, I think we're going to need more time & more examples before anyone can answer with certainty.

Always two ways first you can look on the phone and see what the lock status is do a little searching. Alternatively you could stick a different Sim into the phone and see if it works. If it does work and then you can make phone calls then it's unlocked, if it doesn't work, it's locked

No one knows whether 60 days service is required for unlocking the phone until someone can confirm it under the new unlock policy. Do not be hurry to jump in.

At the very least this is a $100 touch screen mp3 player (with VLC player or whatever downloaded)
But it's not the very least and it takes pictures in 50 MP has unlimited call/text for a year what a slick deal.
I got my order cancelled but called in and swiftly got my order setup.

These have eSIM capability, right? So, IF they unlock after 60 days (who knows now), theoretically should be able to then put the Helium Mobile Zero plan on eSIM for data, right?
I just ordered the 2025 version, and will be trying to do this. I already have Helium Mobile on a pSIM. I haven't looked into moving that to eSIM though. Anyone done that?
