If my son can crank the string trimmer up then he's probably smart enough to use it.

Anyways, in for one for my two year old.

There's some things that shouldn't be kids toys and this is probably one of them. Last thing I'd want is my kid thinking my real weed trimmer is fun to play with just like his toy is.
I can see why it didn't sell well and that's probably why it's on Woot.
I feel the same way about big wheels!

I'm far less concerned about a weed whacker. It's the toy saws that freak me out.

If you're still using archaic tech, sure. The rest of use battery-powered trimmers that are much more efficient and fairly simple to start. Dunno.

Some of us live on actual acreage and have zero use for cordless garden toys.

My Husqvarna trimmer starts with a few pushes of the primer bulb and two pulls and covers my entire 1 acre yard in half a tank of fuel. You're saving a couple seconds of startup time to waste hours charging when you have to stop halfway through. I'll keep using my "archaic" technology that's been working far longer.

Yeah, don't give your kid this poor imitation of a tool. Give him the real thing. He could have fun *while* removing your weeds for you.
