4k is not always a better option, especially considering how much more taxing 4k is on hardware than 1440p. HDR videos/ games will look better on the AOC even though it's only 1440p, especially at a "27 size.
This a great option for a budget HDR monitor that puts out some impressive visuals. The stand only tilts and the monitor is limited on outputs and has no firmware updating. The Windows 11 HDR settings require trial and error to find out what looks good on SDR content and there isn't a lot of info on the net about how to tweak this monitor for best effect, yet.
If you can get past the issues, you'll get a great performer for about half the price of an OLED of similar size.

Is it as good as OLED?
Honestly gonna get some hate for this I've owned 2 oled monitors in the past 2 weeks the first one developed burn in within a week and the newer one gets hella image retention so now I have a sour taste for oled and will wait to get a new one

I have this. It's way better than the last model, which is on sale for $200 now on chinese ecommerce sites. I'm pretty happy with this monitor. Viewing angles could be better when using it as a dual monitor but for the price I'm ok with it. Using it straight on at the proper distance and height it's no issue unless you move your head off axis from the sweet spot, but another potential problem is this doesn't come with height adjustable stand if you need to dial in the proper angle. Some might be annoyed by this. I use it as a secondary monitor or for gaming, while my main is a non-va 4k mini-led with better view angles.

I use it for gaming and productivity on my macbook pro max and PC. It's a keeper. I could spend more for OLED but I leave my screen on static screens for hours when doing productivity stuff, or a more expensive mini-led with non-VA panel for better viewing angles, but like I said it's not that bad for this price. The older model this replaces is way worse. If you're gaming on it, it's an superb budget mini-LED monitor that punches above its weight class with over 1,000 dimming zones vs the typical 300ish in this price range.

HDR is fantastic for budget mini-led, with not so much distracting blooming. Can get very bright. Colors are also pretty accurate out of the box for photo & video editing. At this price it's as good as it gets for mini-led. If you're a super hardcore competitive gamer, get a higher hz monitor with better input latency lag.
