Saw the deal, but after reading the reviewes decided to skip it. The external material is very thin, prone to ripping. Also prepare to leave behind a trail of feathers.

I have bought 2 Cotopaxi's products so far. I have to say their quality is 2 stars. Very cheap. Don't expect Patagonia quality.

I was at the rei reup store and saw a few that were returned because of falling feathers too.

Wife and I bought two jackets for our Cusco trip and quickly fell in love with this jacket. Had it for two years with low use (only while traveling) and no issues so far with the shell or feathers.
The trail guide asked me if I can ship him one to Peru as it is highly regarded there for its quality.

These were trendy for about 2 years and now when I see them they look very silly . Meanwhile I see 20+ year old jackets that still appear stylish. I wouldn't bother

I bought one of these in 2023 and have used it regularly with no issues. I went ahead and ordered in black as that was my preferred color back in 2023 but they did not make an all black version.

Very intermittent issues with feather leakage. Nothing to be concerned about IMO. Also no issue with tears yet. Bought my original for $109 and only $8 more for this with inflation is still a great deal, for me anyway.
