What's everyone's luck with talking with online person to cancel part of the order? I've always returned the items i didn't want but wanted to skip that step is possible.

When I did it, it was automated. Never talked to a real person. Worked fine, luck wasn't required.
How does this set compare to the hammer drill and impact driver from Ryobi? I already have some ryobi batteries from their lawn tools but I'm looking to replace my 12v Craftsman nextec drill/driver. I'd be using these to work on my cars and around the house.

Can't say how they compare but I'd say this: this set here is for its fairly compact size and pretty low weight. I'd compare size and weight to the RYOBI you're talking about. I'm going to guess that these tools are lighter weight. And I've seen the torque tests on the milkwaukee m12 and it's quite good. I think the main selling point of these is their solid power and performance in a very lightweight package. The subcompact kit from Mil is the only thing smaller than these. I have mostly Makita LXT tools and tons of batteries but my Makita hammer drill is heavy af. The impact isn't bad, but the drill is fatiguing to use especially when you have to go up and down a ladder and do work overhead. It really isn't good for that. So that was my motivation to get this kit here. I have heavy duty tools for jobs that need it, but I need a light weight kit for overhead work and for projects that involve a ladder.

I bought the other combo set without the drill bits for the same price so decided to contact customer service via chat. I told them the same combo was available with free drill bits (Internet # 322112926 @ $19.97) so they offered to give me a refund for that amount so I could purchase them if I wanted to.

thanks. For heavy tasks, I rely on corded tools. I think this set will suit my needs well. Looking forward to having the added torque from these tools.

My friend you need to ditch the corded tools! I did like 9 years ago I've never looked back. And get some Makita! Maybe even the Makita xgt tools!
Done, still shows ratchet at $90.00 + the $138 price, then asks for ccard information. Does the $90 get dropped after you enter your ccard number, then review your order before placing your order?
No, you're forced to pay the combined price, so they're making a larger sell by de-coupling the 3 tool combo, if you convert it to a 3 tool combo it's a better deal. But still $229 for 3 tools is pretty good.
Is the oscillating tool any good for trim/flooring work? I'm actually interested in keeping the "free" tool and was wondering if I should go for the oscillating tool or the ratchet to have for car maintenance
