I mean they are all 'sealed'

i mean any bags that are compromised. You can tell if the vacuum seal isnt there when you pick it up and its all baggy instead of tight.

I get a lot of rolls like that from them. I dont really care because I put everything straight into the dryer anyway but some people dont have a dryer.
No, all of the bags were completely sealed. None were loose or baggy.

Do you get a lot of unsealed rolls though? Cuz half of mine come like that
In this case, you might have received a returned item from Amazon that they didn't check properly. The same thing happened to me, except I received a spool from a different manufacturer that was half used up. I wrote to the seller, and they sent me a new spool.

I just got a 3d printer this month. Been doing stuff with generic PLA only. Any reason why PETG is so much cheaper? I thought it was stronger (yet more difficult to print) so I assumed it would more $$$
I've only used PETG other than 2 things I've made with PLA since I got a printer in March. I prefer PETG so I love the lower prices

I've run through a few rolls of this exact brand and material in my Bambu x1c w/ AMS. Prints very well on the generic petg settings. I think I've done black, white, and gray. No issues between a few separate orders and probably 10ish rolls so far.

prefer PLA by quite a bit but PETG has its uses. Pricing is more of a brand thing, usually theyre pretty similar

So these are 1 kg rolls * 2? Work with AMS just fine?

Man I was really looking in the getting polymakers new PLA that supposedly withstands temperature up to 150 C but now all the colors are sold out. They just announced it about a week ago

Yup, 1kg rolls of this fits in the AMS and works without any issues (no tangles, rolls and retracts without issue). Just make sure to dry it out before you install it in the AMS and you're good to go (I usually dry a roll overnight before putting it into the AMS).

I have been buying these 2 packs Comgrow PETG for going on 4-5 months now. It is the cheapest I have found unless you are buying in bulk.

It prints just fine, as good as any other budget filament, Kingroon, Jayo etc. Plastic spools are nice.

2 Cons:

Ive had a couple rolls (like maybe 2-3 out of 30) that ended up showing a tangle mid way through the spool and the second con is about 50% of their rolls come with failed vacuum packaging so if you dont have a good dryer I would pass. I can almost guarantee if you order a couple rolls at least some of them will have baggy/unsealed packaging that has let air inside.

I must have run at least 30 rolls of this stuff through several different printers. Id recommend it for this price.
I can attest to this. Similar issues with the High Speed PLA variation. Still prints great, at a good value.

How do you guys get this to adhere? I feel like I've tried everything, cranking up the base temp, glue stick. Any advice?
What printer do you have?
