For me, the total was $590.49 after tax.
Refunded $184.71
All-in price at $405.78
At that point, I was able to find the order on the app and "start a return" for just the battery. Pressed a couple of buttons and had a bar code to return it with. I walked back in the store (lol..luckily at my store the pickup and returns is a different spot and different people, so there was no walk of shame), showed them my barcode and said that I didn't realize the mower already came with a large battery. Took 30 seconds to return the extra one and get $180.xx credit after tax. Excellent deal, and quite easy to pull off if you order on the app.

If you purchased items as part of a BOGO promotion, the purchase discount will be prorated to each item proportionately. If you choose to return any of the items, your refund will be equivalent to the prorated amount.
Can someone suggest if this is better than Costco? I have the EGO blower and would like to get all from the same brand.
Here is the Costco one: https://www.costco.com/Greenworks...ue

Yes, battery life will diminish after a couple of years. No argument there. It cuts fine, granted you aren't trying to chop down 4 inch tall wet grass. I prefer my gas mower in the spring when it's raining more and grass grows faster. I find it helps if you manually push instead of letting the mower propel itself... especially when grass is higher or wet. Are you mowing at the lowest setting on an overgrown lawn? A gas powered mower is definitely more powerful for worst case scenarios but the Ego is great for regular upkeep and despite what you say, it's relatively silent compared to my Honda/Craftsman ICE mower.

I can't take your opinion seriously after reading that; in fact, I wouldn't trust your opinion on ANYTHING after reading that because it's that ridiculous. This is beyond nonsense. The difference in sound is quite notable.

That's when I started thinking about electric mowers. Since you have both, is the electric mower significantly lighter than the gas?

Be sure to empty the mower in the fall, burn off the old gas. Use a fuel stabilizer on any gas remaining in the can (but better to have a new can in the spring with fresh gas). Take off the air filter and spray a few short bursts of carb&choke cleaner directly into the port when you pull the string. If you get it running, keep the choke fully engaged and spray a couple more bursts into the air chamber... too much and it will not get enough air and will shut down again. Let it warm up, spray a few more times, then replace the filter and turn off the choke.
It should save your wrist and prevent a few calluses. Or buy the electric, lol, that's as good of an argument as any! You'll want to have both batteries if you have a lawn that takes more than thirty minutes, especially when the batteriest get older.
Again, had it for a while. I know how to use it. I know that cutting longer grass on shorter settings will be more difficult and will use more power. But my complaints are for standard use, every two weeks, same setting. But even if you wanted to cut it after a long grow, a gas mower is still definitely better.
Who wants to own 2 mowers? The whole point is to get one that works whatever the job. You shouldn't pay 600 for a mower if you have to get another one to do the things this one can't.
