Don't ever buy Amazon Basics. They regularly rip off small businesses products and de-prioritize them after stealing their designs. Its unbelievable a company as large as Amazon resorts to tactics like that.

They dont rip anyone off. They buy stuff from the same Chinese suppliers and rebrand it.

I bought an old Panasonic sharpener on ebay for a couple of bucks more to use in my grade 5 classroom. The thing has been great all year despite being at least 35 years old and gets a lot of use.

They are using their data to decide which commodity goods to import and sell on their own. They are not stealing or knocking off any inventions or innovations made by small businesses. Grocery stores do the same thing when they decide which items to private label.
