That's hard to justify on a $175 tablet.
The Samsung A9 is $199 with 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM and often goes on sale for around $180.
Then I got a deal on a Samsung with slightly better specs, started using it and finally realized how crappy the Fire OS runs.
My old Fire is now relegated as my grand kids YouTube/Netflix toy. Occasionally, they need my help with something on the tablet (they're 6&8) and I am reminded how cumbersome and slow the Amazon tablet operates.
The Samsung is about 2 years old and still going like a champ. I've never had a Fire tablet go that long before getting bogged down.
Of course, ymmv.
