I won't ever get ABS again. For me it's 100% polycarbonate or nothing. ABS just doesn't hold up like polycarbonate.

Yeah, but you will have to pay more for polycarbonate. Those who can't afford it, get ABS for 50% to 70% less and then replace the ABS luggage with a new one every 3 to 5 years.

Replacing luggage after 3 to 5 years isn't the issue. Getting to your destination and finding your luggage burst or cracked is the thing I want to avoid happening...again. Polycarbonate is a little more expensive but it's worth it to me.

Then good good soft luggage.

There have been issues of even good quality polycarbonate cases breaking. It is far more likely that hard luggage will crack/break than good quality soft luggage.

Received the case already. The case looks pretty good, very lightweight. It doesn't have inner pockets for organizing small items, but I can live with it. For $23 I am satisified.
