If you're one of the lucky ones that got a $10 certificate from Best Buy, you can get Nioh 2 for just $1 (you need to add a $1 filler), or get BOTH for $10 if you use this deal. This essentially means that you're paying an extra $9 for Nioh 1 and I'm literally so cheap that paying an extra $9 for Part 1 is eating away at me when I can get Part 2 for almost free.
$20 for both Nioh 1 and Nioh 2 remastered, it's well worth it.
You don't need to play Nioh 1 before Nioh 2, the stories aren't connected. But Nioh 2 does has some new/improved features over Nioh 1.
I personally think Nioh series is the best alternative to Souls games.
