https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/panasonic/w95a Panasonic W95A Review (TV-55W95AP, TV-65W95AP, TV-75W95AP, TV-85W95AP) - RTINGS.com

The Panasonic W95 is a good TV overall. Unfortunately, it's really held back by the fact that you can't use local dimming and VRR simultaneously, so you have to choose between the best possible image quality or a tear-free gaming experience while using its True Game picture mode. This is unusual, and you can get similar and even better Mini LED TVs like the Hisense U8/U8N, the TCL QM8/QM851G QLED, and the Sony BRAVIA 7 QLED that don't make you decide between those two options.

Panasonic re-entered the market after a hiatus in North America and they their TVs are good quality, but the damage they did to their brand hurt their sales and they are deep discounting their current line. Hopefully they try harder on the next batch of TVs because in my opinion they rival Sony for picture quality.

What! You are using a non Atmos soundbar with a 4K UHD Mini-LED LCD TV with 1080p streaming content!

You are a very rare person, sorry my comment would not apply to you!
Where did I say I was using a non-atmos soundbar for one, and where did I say I owned this TV?

Oh then by all means, what display and soundbar are you using in the "room we're working with"?

Irrelevant. Your comment was laughing at people who would choose a soundbar instead of a full AV setup as if there is no middle ground for what someone could want or need. It had elitist written all over it.

I disagree, it's completely relevant.
You defended the choice of a "soundbar", even laughed(lol) on why one would question it.

I didn't laugh but ask a specific question and gave basic facts to go with it.
You again laughed(lol) at the question.

Funny how I never get an answer to that simple question.
It's often the ol you're elitist and or laughing at my choice response! πŸ€”πŸ€·πŸ» ♂️

Wrong. But considering it's clear you can't read, this conversation will go nowhere.

My 60in panasonic plasma still runs flawless
I just donated a couple 40" Panasonic plasmas to the Salvation Army. They were still working great. Almost couldn't part with them.

Yes. Like any other 'smart TV' if you prefer CCwGTV (I use them too). Fire is a pretty similar android based OS though if you want to try out the onboard apps. Shame they didn't release these with GTV like Sony. Bezos must have made them a deal they couldn't refuse.

How's the off axis viewing? Is it notably worse than most other TVs in normal viewing? The comment on viewing angles from rtings.com gave me pause.
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/panasonic/w95a
TBF all LCDs are poor at it. Some higher end ones have a wide angle filter to help (at the expense of contrast) and some have IPS based ADS panels which also help a bit (at the expense of contrast) but you really need to see them in person and simulate your viewing angles. I checked out the Bravia 7 at Costco and it was noticeably better at it than the x90L in that regard, even though rtings rated them both poor, so YMMV with if it is actually good enough for your seating arrangement.
