Deal History

The DRX3.4 is essentially the TX-NR7100 with added pre-outs and a 5 yr warranty. Ive not owned the Denon, but based on the specs and my needs the DRX would be my clear choice. The DIRAC room correction is superior to that included with the Denon (so I read). At this price, you really cant go wrong. Forgot to mention, I really love how it sounds as well!

In the market for a new receiver. Was looking at the Denon AVR X1800h but came across this deal. Would you recommend this over the Denon? Thanks!

If you have no brand preference and more drawn to features, there are quite a few differences.
A popular one on this is Dirac's loudspeaker room correction software(DL).
Keep in mind it does not offer Dirac's subwoofer correction/integration software(DLBC).
There is a bit of a learning curve with it also.
The 1800 has access to the $20 MultiEQ editor app which in turn gives you access to A1EVO script.
People are quickly finding out it pretty much gives you all the performance of both Dirac RCs.
Needed this badly to replace my old Rx-av2000 Yamaha after 14 years. Thanks OP. Anyone familiar with how well Adoroma ships items? Are they timely?
They're pretty good. Once shipped., things usually arrives in 3 days. UPS Ground. Seems like, typically theyll ship items on the next business day from thw order. Overall pretty good. Ive never had a problem.

I just bought this and have only used Audessey in the past. Dirac is 10x superior in every way. I have this as a preamp only and the performance is exceptional. Can't beat this deal for the technology.
It will be $570 at adaroma for the rest of time. They must have bought up all of the integra remaining inventory for pennies.
Had this for a few months. Not a audio snob, but dirac sounds great to me. Handles all the gaming stuff... has issues once in a while with ps5 pro resolution changes but not during gaming, but at this price I'm happy with it

Bought this a few months ago for a similar Adorama sale. Zero complaints so far. It handles 5.2.4 Atmos, drives my 6 ohm speakers fine, and it has a full set of pre-amps if you want more power.

Here is a comparison of the two.

Top tier room correction included..much better than Audyssey to my ears..even with the $20.00 app
This unit has been on the market for a few years but still relevant and no doubt will make front page yet again
5 year warranty to boot
