Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

That's weird.

I just posted an alternative, cheaper, source for unlock and the post was removed. Since when does SD do stuff like that?

Anyways, I found a cheaper unlock site. The webpage is janky and I never got a confirmation email, but they take PayPal payment (so basically risk-free), and after you pay you can click "support" and "order tracking form" and enter your IMEI and email and it will give you your code within just a few minutes in my experience. Like I said, I never got a confirmation email OR a code via email and the page errored out after I made the payment, but low and behold all the info including the unlock code was right there on the "order tracking form" page under support.

The code worked fine for me.

It's only $7.90 versus the site that most on here have been using.

It's literally just "simunlock" with what usually goes on either side of that in your address bar.

Good Luck

Thanks. This is great. Too bad I did a few with the expensive one

Most are reporting that it takes around ~3 weeks for the purchase to track...
Good to know, thanks. Getting another $30 back on the $60 plan would be awesome, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Don't believe so the phone was activated during 30 day terms and line is still active the 30 day money back is just for not liking the service. They just refund you $60 plan cost and kept the tax. I used prepaid card so can't charge MSRP anyway if they tried.
You used a prepaid cc, like a visa from staples? I've tried one of those, with a registered street addrss, and also a prepaid amex which requires no address, and neither one will go thru.

This site (i-imei) says you can get a Motorola unlock code for 3 bucks. I have not tried it.
Did anyone tried this?

Paypal debit card works its prepaid by account balance now. no backup payment method allowed now so it auto declines. You can also lock the card and set limits and order up to 4 free business cards per account just need paypal balance account can also cancel and reorder without any fees.

So, I used two different websites to unlock my 4 phones as cheap as I could. One of them was i-imei for $5(.15 in fees for using a card). You can't use PayPal unless you load up $100 on the account it makes you make before buying anything, and the minimum deposit with a card is $5. You don't need to give legit info for anything except your email while registering as far as I can tell. Code came in within 15 minutes.

The other one that I actually wanted to use for all 4 was gsmunlockusa. You can get the unlock codes for about $1 a piece here, the trick is making a USDT pro account and using crypto for payments. Unfortunately, I miscalculated how much it would cost in fees for transferring from Kraken and ended up short the credits needed to unlock the 4th phone.

If you don't want to bother with crypto I would use i-imei for the cheapest unlock codes and if you're fine with crypto transactions then use gsmunlockusa.

Thanks for the info. Is the best price only in usdt or is it the same for all cryptocurrencies? Also do you know how to get the lowest fees for this purchase, if starting from usd?

After getting the phone, activating it and unlocking it. Do I just turn off autopay and let the month pass so I can use it on another service? Do I need to cancel anything? Can I move the phone to another service while the boost line is still active? (Physical sim)

so are folks activating with the boost sim that is sent?

T&C state:

By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your phone on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the phone (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method.
I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided.
Does anyone know if activating the phone on any active Boost line will satisfy this requirement, or does the phone have to be activated on the new line that it was purchased with? Also, does the new line need to be activated at all?

it has to be activated on the line you bought with phone or order will not complete and sit in processing till they charge you full MSRP.

after activating my last phone it completed the order under payments>order history

A couple of years ago on a similar Motorola deal, I didn't activate the phones and nothing happened. Not sure if something has changed
