10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

The network was down for maintenance for a week and it changed to AT&T
using the website provided earlier" -desi_babu_2010
Good to know it can be unlocked even if it's after the Aug 2023 manufacture date
When did yours crash, curious to know if it was a while back (growing pains as they are building out the network) or if this is recent. Thanks Jaggsta

Any steps would be appreciated.
thanks
Appologizies if this has already been answeered (I'm trying to speed read through these 40+ pages chronologically, before deciding on getting a 2nd one).
You can ask for the imei 2 to be added to the carriers database (mobile x did this for me, but I haven't had a chance to test it, tello is in the process) or you can use a donor esim. I used my samsung galaxy watch 7's imei, got a qr code, scanned it with the moto and it went through the process as normal. Dialer, and text app show the 2nd sim options, shows up normally under network, etc.
Haven't done extensive testing, but everything seems to be working fine. Long term there may be issues, but I plan on switching over to the actual imei 2 and getting my donor esim back on the watch with tello.
Waiting for delivery
It's hidden in the menu, but there is a dialer code to get the imei 2 value. The esim doesn't appear to be in the carrier's databases I have checked but you can use a donor sim to get a QR code or ask your carrier to add it to their database (took mobile X like 3ish days, maybe it was longer).
Once you have the QR code scan it and setup is normal for esim.
edit: dialer code; *#06#
