10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Did both, it says NO SIM. Phone doesn't recognize the SIM at all

I had a same issue as well. After inputting my IMEI in boost app, it couldn't get past the next screen.
I decided to pick up a new sim from a physical Boost Mobile location and that one worked. You do have to either call support or use the support chat in the Boost app to let them know about the new sim. I used the app chat.
- Not a huge fan of the curved edges on the screen. We're case and screen protector people. Cases seem OK, but not great. Screen protectors are pretty much a no go.
- Processor is great... not a 2025 flagship, but I've never had to have the most recent phone.
- Screen is bright and smooth.
- 512gb is total overkill for our use case, but nice to have.
- Had gotten used to Samsung's android skin, but the more stock Moto version is quite good.
- Samsung camera is a bit better with better software processing and the 3x camera.
- Moto battery is a significant upgrade over the smaller (and older) Samsung.
If I was doing a flat our comparison, I like the size and camera of the Samsung... battery and processor of the Moto.
For $59.99, it's a steal.

Any cellular issue is due to boost not the phone though. I tested the phone with T-Mobile and Verizon. Boost has poor reception, not the phone's fault. Moto usually has best signal of US brands. The battery is better than even S24/S25. Samsung isn't great for endurance, I have used them since S1. But this Edge gets charged every 3-4 days for me.

The sim was free. I just told them the truth. I ordered a new phone with a new line and had been unable to active it do to a bad/broken sim. They gave me a new one at no cost and told me I had to contact Boost customer service about the new sim number.

As for the connectivity problem being a Boost issue... you're just wrong. The phone simply stopped working. We've got another phone on Boost... and a phone on Google Fi. Swapped SIMs around and it's definitely the phone. But, thanks for playing out game...

Apologies if this has already been covered, went back about 4 or 5 pages and didn't see the origin of this issue.
