10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Boost doesn't let you ESIM on older Motorola phones for some reason.
I tested Free Roamless and Free Instabridge Apps ESIM automatically installs and works.
so you're saying on android 15, after you install an esim, it just remains invisible?
when you tested those other esims, is there a menu to switch between the two esims?

Can I take the activated Boost SIM out and use it in another phone? Probably will need to change IMEI in the Boost app, but it won't be breaching T&Cs, right?
Once activate edge when swap sim into another phone it automatically reactivates and sends you email saying you changed devices.
Shame it has such poor case support. Our only option appears to be temu/Amazon cases, no high end Otterboxes here. Also it's insane how much spam apps Boosts installs once you activate. Wow. But for $120 I ain't complainin.
Edit: The Spigen Liquid Air was out of stock so I went with the Poetic Guardian, a bit bulky but the built in screen protector will save me the hassle of attempting to install one on this curved screen.

So it isn't a problem, right?

didn't someone say that flashing retus does not require unlocking bootloader?
interesting deal.
but what to do in 1 month?
the device will be locked to boost.
have u recently checked if it can be UL via ebay?
if not,
so in reality u r locked with boost for 1 year.
correct?
also math is a little off.
the plan is 60.
not 40.
price is 120 at the end
60 phone + 60 plan
Fixed it, copied it from last year. Yes it's $120 all in. You should be able to unlock it with one of the services and use with any carrier but that is not guaranteed. Once people get the phone they can report if its working right now or not. There were issues last year some phones IMEI weren't on the list yet. The one I bought was and I was able to unlock right away.
