Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

*#06# its hidden you have QR scan esim code or Carrier App to activate ESIM.
So that means I can't activate Esim from other carrier online.

which carrier most of them have QR Codes to activate ESIM and have Carrier Apps to install ESIM automatically. Only thing you can't do is manually type in the code or transfer from another phone.

For example US Mobile. Maybe I am not familiar with esim. let me investigate more about it.

Just destroyed my Motorola Stylus 5g 2022 by jumping into a pool last weekend... It was the 6gb ram model I got from Metro back then, only took 6 months to unlock too. This 2023 edge+ looks really tempting but then again we'd only get about 6 years of support before the old OS won't support majority of the new apps as they do with every phone out there...
This Edge+ has Official LineageOS support pretty easy to install it once motorola support ends.
It's actually titled "UNOFFICIAL" for the LineageOS 23 ROM in the XDA forums.

US Mobile gives you QR code at checkout to scan or use US Mobile App to automatically install esim.

Are you saying that there's a LineageOS ROM that's available for this phone?
There is, but from what I've read you lose the Smart Connect(Ready For) ability, as it is built in to the Moto software.

That was the main reason I bought this phone, and it is fantastic. Only other phones that can do this are Samsungs, other than basic screen mirroring or a janky developer desktop mode like my pixel 9 Pro XL.
That's just a fancy way of saying you're screencasting which I actually prefer to do using a direct, physical connection and I have compatible cabling capable of pulling off that feature.

Is this a good screen protector for this phone?

After seeing your choice, I'm probably going to return the one I bought off Amazon Wed evening since it costs twice as much as the option you presented.

FYI - this is the official Motorola case for this phone. It's a clear case that claims to have an anti-yellowing feature. Pricey at $20 though.

I actually prefer these "Rugged Armor" cases instead especially for all the obscure Asian-originating phones that I've procured over the past 7 years:

Hey guys, just checking if that's normal (uploaded photo). I'm assuming that is just their system assuming that I'll continue with pre paid plan, right? I shouldn't be actually billed for anything after the first month

yes port number out will cancel line but need call and ask for port pin.

USMobile has Free 30 day trial with port in.

That's very helpful, do I need to do the port out tho? Or just deactivating autopay is enough? Also, I'm really ignorant towards US carriers, could I do the port out right after activating the line or would I have to wait the first month to end? Thanks

If buying multiple phones in a single order, is there anyway to tell which SIM card in the shipment goes with which phone since the SIM cards are each in their own envelope? Is it just trial and error to see which SIM card works with which phone?

Does not make a difference, re-pair the phone to sim card during activation by entering the sim card number manually when prompted.

Sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. I thought each phone will only work with one of the SIM cards, and I wasn't sure if anything bad would happen if trying to activate with the wrong SIM card in a phone. Are you saying that if the wrong SIM card is used for a phone, it will show a prompt asking to enter the correct SIM card number and then the current SIM card that's in the phone will be re-programmed with the new SIM number? Instead of trying to enter anything in a prompt, wouldn't it make more sense to just swap out the SIM card with the other one at that point?

But if someone got 10 of these phones with 10 SIM cards, I'm not sure the best way how they would handle this.

The order does not matter. Grab a phone and an unused sim card. Enter the info for both on the activation page. Insert the sim card into the phone and it will work.
