10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Yea. I purchased the Anker 5-in-1 USB hub for $9.99 sale (retail $19.99) so that device will help charge and also display at the same time. After ordering, I was looking at the expensive Motorola dock but I believe it doesn't charge the phone and I believe Gullzway mentioned how he uses a USB hub with charging and HDMI out. I looked into that and ordered the Anker model for $9.99 sale. Tomorrow I should get my Motorola Edge +2023. I know I will like the phone and Smart Connect too. I am digging the Motorola G Stylus 2025 right now and typing on it now.

I've got that one - same ports but different layout

What are the pros/cons of using a USB-C hub vs the Motorola Ready For cable? I'm not sure how long the Motorola cable is, but I guess one pro of a USB-C hub is that you could attach an extra long HDMI cable from it to a TV/monitor and be farther away from it with the phone.
Whoever name you entered on the order form is on the hook. There is also a delivery address. Not sure Boost's collection process but they may simply sell the liability to a collection. This is essentially racketeering but in a legal corporate way. I would not risk it, even if it sounds very remotely possible.pp. ThriftyGame codes work, I unlocked mine. Just be sure to give him the correct IMEI#1
please DM me ebay link to unlock , thank you.
any idea what would happen with negative balance if I abandon my account? are they going to send -$1.5 for collections or blacklist my account?
Not sure yet since prepaid. Mine is still negative $80 after 2nd due date with suspended lines. Apparently they delete the lines after 90 days which is 3rd due date for non-payment.
What do you think about that? What are your thoughts? Should I try to get the information to port out my lines?
I'm not even sure where to begin.
The port out pin is not the pin you setup for login.
It will be sent via text to the line you are requesting to port out.
Boost requires you to call in, expect to spend 30 minutes as they push retention offers on you.
It is valid for 4 days from time of request.

Thanks, case looks nice from photos. Will just have to wait for it to go on sale as $20 = almost 20% of total phone cost

IMHO it'll be worse to walk around with a crack screen than a phone with everything still intact. I will always get a case. Especially if you don't get insurance.
