10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

I didn't try to go through, but the US Mobile account creationg page for the free trial shows "Don't have a phone number? Leave it empty!"
Quote from JesseKnows :
I had believed that if the phone is unlocked (thanks, Thrifty!) it should reveal the eSIM. I unlocked and factory reset. The Settings menus do not show eSIM, only the one IMEI. Dialing *#06# shows IMEI1 and IMEI2. I believe the latter is the eSIM but I'm not sure.
FWIW, with Boots's Android 15, after the factory reset I set up with no network and disabled App Cloud. When I enabled and connected WiFi it asked to update things (I don't recall more details). When I allowed that, App Cloud was updated, enabled, and installed a bunch of crap.
Are you the same Jesse that posted about the $10 Ali smartwatch? I thanked you on that thread and want to thank you again here. Ordered a few more today for friends and family

Are you saying US Mobile has a "free trial" for eSims that don't require a port-in when you choose their "Don't have a phone number? Leave it empty!" option and that number can be used to enjoy the port-in deal here?
Now looking forward to get rid of Dish Wireless bloatware. So i anybody knows how to upload "normal" unlocked firmware, this instruction will be most welcome.

You could flash LineageOS onto your device, but be prepared for reading through forums, knowing how to troubleshoot, and potentially bricking the device if you aren't careful. Would recommend sticking with the stock Dish firmware and just debloat using ADB (methods via Shizuku and Canta are easy and reliable)

Just know that it is a manual process and removing apps are better because you can choose what you want and don't want on your device. Some want Google apps, others do not want any Google apps. Though you should beware that removing apps like this may break certain features that you may or may not want.

Did you ever get the rewards from Capital One? I did it. They said it takes 90 days before that transaction will show. Still have a week to go until my 90 days. Will post if I get it.
no, i haven't seen anything on that yet, not even pending. i bought the phone 7/23 so i'm not really expecting to see anything for another month or so

Not sure what Boost installer is used for.
AppCloud responsible for bloatware installation.
Boost Installer and AppCloud both seem to be responsible for bloatware. I disabled AppCloud and Boost Installer re-enabled it. Disabled both and so far so good.
