I'm the exact opposite. Too dim for me. I like 100w equivalents.

looks like a decent deal if you want a brighter bulb. 60 watt (equivalent) is a bit to bright for me though.

I have a different issue than the other comments. I don't think I have a need for normal, non-dimmable, non-colored, non-smart bulbs anymore!

I just took a look around the house, and nearly all my bulbs besides the kitchen chandelier are LED colored smart bulbs.

Otherwise this seems like an unbeatable deal.

Not sure if I should be happy or worried they don't ship to California. Are they made with something extra toxic?

Or maybe they are coded wrong in the system. I know you're not suppose to be able to buy CFLs because of the mercury in them. LEDs shouldn't have mercury though.

California bulbs must produce 80 lumens per watt, which is likely why they aren't for sale in California.

800 lumens / 9 watts = 89 lumens per watt.

California has a bunch of LED bulb restrictions beyond just basic efficiency.

There are rules about color, lifespan, flicker, dimming speeds, and a bunch of other stuff.

The CEC should have a list of authorized bulbs - and often they'll be labeled as such if they meet CA guidelines on the box as well.

And even rules are coming at the end of the year so stock up! Lol
Bc the LED black market don't play!
