They have a rubber gasket im so for rain , or even a hose down theyd ,ve fine not sure if u submerged it .

Yeah I don't like this size. The internal space is too small for what it is. It is designed to be part of the the system so most of the space is to make it structurally sound in case some idiot puts it at the bottom of the stack and puts 500 pounds on it.

I don't think these small boxes have a rubber seal, maybe the larger ones do. I've bought 10 of these small dewalt boxes and all come without a rubber seal.

These are pretty good boxes, however they will break fairly easy, especially the latches, don't overload at all and they will last way longer, despite the fact that they are name brand, and are DeWalt. I overloaded two of them by just a little and 3 out of 4 latches completely broke off, the metal pieces.

Its j ust a plastic groove, not a rubber seal like the pro ones. This is the cheap line box and it feels it, good enough for indoors.

Internal volume is one of those 24 ramen packet packs minus 2.
