The Samsung OLEDs also don't have Dolby Vision, and the blacks are elevated and not inky blacks like the LGs'.
You're mostly correct (100% correct about missing Dolby Vision), but the elevated blacks are not just a Samsung problem, nor is it a problem all the time. It's an issue with QD-OLED and ambient light. Every QD-OLED TV, regardless of brand, has elevated blacks when ambient light hits the screen. If the room is dark, it has the same inky blacks as regular OLED. The second any amount of light hits the TV, though, black turns grey. In a dark room, nothing beats QD-OLED.

How does it compare to Sony Bravia Sony 65" Class - BRAVIA 7 Series - 4K UHD QLED Mini-LED LCD TV - Allstate 3-Year Protection Plan Bundle Included for 5 Years of Total Coverage* (Costco Item # 9465070) ? I got one for $999.99 in store.
This smashes the Bravia. OLED is in a different league than Mini LED. Check Rtings any time you're curious how things compare. Rtings is the gold standard for reviews. You can also type in "LG C4 vs Sony Bravia 7" and it will give you a side by side comparison on the site.

You don't have to worry about burn-in if you're gaming on the Bravia 7. I have a LG C7 OLED, and after babying it while gaming on it for 8 years the burn-ins are there and quite significant. These newer OLED panels are supposed to be more burn-in proof, but I'm currently in the market for a 75" Bravia 7 for gaming, and a 77" G5 for my Dolby Vision movie library.

The OLED is superior ofc but if you don't need really wide viewing angles then the B7 is fine to decent as a mini led. Especially for that price with the warranty. Perfect TV and warranty for people who like to leave it on all day long as background sound or just don't need the very best. 1000 should have been the price all along though. That's what it is worth. Sony tax...
