Don't add that free mounting from Handy. You're rolling the dice to get someone competent to mount your TV. I tried twice through Handy, first time they never came, second time I wish they didn't. TV is not level, multiple holes in my walls, and I have to get it remounted.

65" G3 got clearanced online at Best Buy and Amazon in early December for $999. G3 is a better TV than C4. Also I'm pretty sure there was a wild deal for the 77" C4 a couple weeks ago at Sam's Club for $1199.

So yeah, there will be better deals than this one, come end-of-year.

i bought this TV when this same deal was running about a month ago during Memorial Day. It's nice. I did not elect to take up their offer to have somebody wall-mount the thing as my old TV was already mounted. i also frankly do not trust most people to be as detail-oriented as i am with something like this.

I've never heard of rooting a TV, what extra things does that get you that you wouldn't be able to otherwise?
Better opportunity to brick it.

Hmmm... This or that $700 Panasonic OLED 🤔 1st time OLED buyer. Differences between the LG C4 and the Panasonic Z85 worth almost $400?! I've never used LG or fire TV platform, I like Roku but been stuck with Google TV. I want to bite on one of them but something tells me better deals are on the way

The 65 Panasonic is 900-1000 depending on the deal. This vendor is awful. GL.

This is the deal I chose over the costco one because even though you dont get the new fancy remote and wifi6. It made no difference to me since I use Apple TV and ethernet. Plus my CC gives me an additional year of warranty AND the cost difference was too much
Which Costco one? For same C4 tv? This one doesn't have a remote?

One main advantage for me is the ad free Youtube app! You don't need "rooting" for that but you will have to enable "developer mode" on the TV and install an alternative app store to install the ad free Youtube. See link below if interested

100% this, they were supposed to send 2 guys - one didn't show up and the other I wish didn't.

Well then you got a bad deal because mine did come with a remote when ordered from LG. Costco sells the same one but with newer WifI 6E and the magic remote. I am confused by you comment as it makes no sense

How do I do this? Is it a normal Hulu account trial? Or something different

Go back to the 1st comments page. I explained it in another reply (the 6th or 7th comment after the one you quoted)

I'm not saying there won't be better sales, but those sales on the G3 happened close to midnight and both of them were over in less than 5 minutes. Most people didn't get have any realistic opportunity to get a G3.
Like I wouldn't compare every OLED monitor deal to the Flex I got from best buy for 280 bucks.

Will there be a better TV deal next year?! Yeah, so you just wait.

That's not at all the message I'm trying to convey, and I don't at all believe in that philosophy so spare me the snark. I'm simply saying that most of the time, the absolutely batshit insane deals tend to pop out at the end of the year vs any other time.

I'm saying this as someone who copped a 65" G3 for $999 from Best Buy on a random Tuesday morning back in December.

How does the C3 compare to the C1? Is it worth upgrading, even if the C1 has no issues?
