Bought these from Dick's. The toe box was too narrow. Thought i could live with it, but exchanged it after a week for the wide versions which fit much better. Unfortunately the wide versions only come in a few colors and none really looked good, so i went with black.

Great deal. These are my go-to shoes, super comfortable to work in. And these are normal colors.

I always appreciate this comment. It saves me from having to go look and be disappointed they don't have any wides. Thank you!

These are too "bouncy" for running or workouts to me. I do like them for recovery or casual wear. They're the best Hoka version I've tried

Just tried and returned. Clifton 9 might be a good option for heel strikers, not a forefoot striker like me.

These were my first Hokas I ever bought this year. I think they are great for me for both running and casual.

Help me to understand why "bouncy" is bad for running for you? The best running shoes I ever had had lots of return on the step, which I would equate to "bouncy," and is something I often look for.

Bouncy go for them (Clifton 9), firmer run go for Mach 6.

Wide should become the norm. I have 2E Hokkas, seam splitting at wide spot, seems the Hokkas, according the Claude AI, do have this problem.

I prefer a more minimalistic, natural feel like Nike Free for shorter runs. More recently though, as my distance increased to 10K, I've been running in Brooks Ghost 15 and Nike Pegasus which do have more return.

I do like the Hoka Cliftons and Brooks Ghost Max for recovery and casual.

The discount is not working anymore, dead? I had a pair in my cart and I swear it said sale for the next few days but it is $113.95 for me now.
