Tbh I'd go with Ridgid for lifetime service agreement or DeWalt Whisper series just because it's quiet

I use a dust extractor to save the filter when possible but the filter seems just as capable as any other

Get that Amazon 3 year Asurion protection warranty for $10 if you are going to abuse it. Asurion has been very reliable, they don't ask questions just a quick refund.

I found that every filter and dust separator fails miserably compared to a bag for drywall dust. Also, the quiet vac is the only dewalt tool I've ever had break on me and it drove me nuts because the hose doesn't spin and unscrews itself. I returned it.

Bought the Vacmaster Blue Line 12-Gallon (VBV1210) not long ago when on sale and haven't opened it yet. Wondering if I should return that one for this one. 12 Gallon is a bit of an overkill for what is mainly a garage vacuum.. Anyone got any thoughts on how much better/powerful this smaller shop vac is?
