Yeah, but the payment processor they're using requires your SSN and bank account. It's not a straight gift card.

I can confirm the credit is a discount code that doesn't stack with sale prices, if you try use the discount code on a sale then the price will revert to full price, the sale prices are usually better than $150. The discount code is worthless unless you absolutely cannot wait for a sale. Otherwise the $100 is better as you can still get the sale price and $100.

from what I've heard, the $150 is just a discount code and is not stackable so get the $100 and you will get a better upgrade deal

I'm leaning towards battery replacement for two Pixel 6a, as they're working flawlessly.

Did you provide a real SSN (and name as well) to get the $100 credit? I am concerned about the company (never heard of it) and too much info for $100 bucks (even $200 or $300 in my case).
Yes, gave a real SSN and name. I am surprised people provided fake info (would expect them to not get their $$). While I hadn't heard about Payoneer before, it seems legit based on the wiki entry (founded 20 years ago, traded on NASDAQ with 2.5B market cap, etc) and I would expect Google to use a trusted/established company when dealing with personal data.

If your Pixel 6a is under warranty, i.e., less than 1 year since you first powered on the device for use, you should get a $452 cash payment option. It was a surprise as I was looking for a $100 cash payment. I submitted mine on July 8, and got money in my bank account today.
Thanks for explaining. I was wondering why I got offered $452. Bought the phone 3 years ago via a 3a trade in deal ($150~ + came with free buds), but never even turned it on until earlier this year. one of the rare times hoarding Slickdeals electronics turned into a massive profit lol

When arranging your battery replacement, it's a good idea to contact the service center first to verify battery availability before scheduling online. Don't tell by phone you want to do it for free. Be aware that some "shady" service centers might say "we don't have replacement batteries." It happened to me.

UbreakIFix is pretty good (depending on location). I called few locations and they don't have in stock but ready to create work order (take 3-4 days to get the battery).

Just wait for few days and battery should be available for same day installation.

Has anyone gotten a denial (after initially being accepted) tried to resubmit? I don't have a Payoneer problem (already got paid once for Pixel 4a), but why are 6a claims being denied if it went through at the beginning?

This exact thing just happened to me this morning. I received the following from Google Support, which offers absolutely no explanation at all. I just sent an email reply, but with my prior experiences dealing with Google Support, I don't expect any sort of resolution.

"Thank you for contacting Google support. My name is Victoria. I hope you're doing well.

I understand that you have a query related to the Pixel 6a battery issues. We're sorry to hear that you're having this issue. I know how concerning this must be for you.

As per your request, we reviewed your eligibility for the Pixel Battery Performance Program. Unfortunately, after careful review of your submission, your device has been determined ineligible for an appeasement. As a result, we have rejected your request.

Thanks for your co-operation and if you have any questions or need further assistance, we'll be happy to help."

I'm in the same boat. I'll just keep arguing with them until they do something. They claim my device was not affected, but it clearly was. 🤣

Do you know your battery charge cycle? I am wondering if Google now has information about the impacted device battery charge cycle after the recent update. Just a feeling.

Both of mine are way under 400 battery cycles & both were approved. One was automatic, the other was manually approved a week later.

Good luck with that. Ironically I'm sure Google knows more about your device than you do

The other poster said his/her request was initially approved then denied. So I am a bit confuse now. My request was reviewed manually and approved. I think Google couldn't figure out if I own the device so they did a review before they approved it. The device was not associated with my Google account. It was set up without a Google account and then set up with my kid's Google account.
