I redeemed ebay gift card on ebay. And ebay blocked my gift card for days, citing the guy who purchased the gift card used an email that is different from my ebay account email. It is ridiculous. See ebay's orignal words: For security purposes, and to ensure gift cards are only redeemed by their rightful owners, we require the confirmation email address to match your eBay account email address in order to move forward with the review process.

I will never touch ebay gift card again.

Physical redemption only. 5-8 days to arrive

Much better value out there for your ultimate rewards points

eBay sometimes freezes your account if you try to redeem too many eBay gift cards, and then you can't even use your gift cards anymore because they're tied to your account. Not worth the hassle to save 10%.

Just check your card benefits. I know I am exchanging points with 25% bonus for Chase Sapphire Reserve or Chase Ink. Not sure on others
