If your poor & on gov cheese, then you qualify for reduced annual prime membership. Same thing if your a student & have an edu email. Alternatively, cancel your $150/yr membership & have your kid sign up & authorize you as a member user for $60/yr.

Pro tip: sign up for the monthly membership during amazon prime day or during christmas when you can get the fast ships with prime member price, then cancel after month, so you only pay the month fee, instead of the $150 annual fee.

I applied for it yesterday and it said: We were not able to make an instant decision; we need to further examine your application. If you are approved, you'll receive an email.
Let's say I get approved after a week, would i still receive the $250 GC?

I'm on someone else's Prime account, but I don't see the $250 as reported by some others, instead just $50. Is there some trick to getting the $250 if I'm not the primary account member?

The prechecker keeps denying me immediately but gives no reason why. Chase can't help until I do a full application which would burn a hard pull if not successfull. Only have two personal Chase cards and several business. Credit score not an issue. I have the Amazon store card but I don't think that anything to do with Chase.

Not sure why everyone is too excited about this even though this may be the best offer for Prime Credit card so far. Everyone seems to be forgetting about the hard credit pull. For those who look for credit card offers, there are cards that give $400+ cashback time to time which may worth a credit pull.

Initially showed only $60 bones, but the offer changed to $250 as soon as I signed up for Prime subscription. Will probably cancel Prime after a month.

This has no spend requirement, $250 instantly credited to GC balance on approval.

Easy approval. Took like 30 sec to fill up the form and got approved instantly on submission.
