I did the math. Even if you buy cheapest phone from Walmart for 60$ for trade in, this deal won't make much of a difference. The cost to buy the cheapest trade phone from Walmart is 60$ + Tax (64$ for me). Buying Flip 7 FE 256 GB with 60$ trade in phone will cost you 169.99$ + Tax (65$ Tax for me). Since you need to submit IMEI at the time of the order to take advantage of free double storage offer, you will have to wait for the Flip 7 FE to arrive to get the IMEI. So you will trade in Flip 7 FE for Flip 7 (without free memory upgrade) after 25th July - It will cost you 34.99$ + Tax (83$ in tax for me). So overall you would have paid roughly 416$ to get 7 Flip 256 GB (no memory storage upgrade) after 2 trade ins. I don't think it's worth it. I traded in 12 Mini and I'll pay 329$+ taxes {413$ after taxes (trade in credit is 71$ + 700$)} for 7 Flip 512 GB with no hassle of two trade in. It's the same price but I got double storage and one time trade in. I could have traded in 12 Mini for Flip 7 FE 256 GB then Flip 7 256 GB and saved 100$ ( Flip 7 FE 256 would have cost me 130.99$ + 65$ tax and Flip 7 256 GB would have cost 35$ + 82.35$ tax - totalling 313$). But I would have to go through the trade in process twice and also miss out on a free double storage deal. IMO not worth it to save 100$.

Correct. I did the math for Flip 7 and Fold 7 - Both are not worth it after all taxes paid and trade ins. It's best to wait for black Friday or better enhanced trade in deal in future.

yes but the Walmart Moto isn't nearly the same as the iphone 12 mini. One is worth about $200 more than the other. So you netted out about the same on both trades but missed out on reselling the iphone and earning $200 on the side.

Total Wireless is selling iPhone 13 brand new for 165. Do you still expect to get 200$ for old iPhone 12 Mini? You are thinking about ridiculous eBay prices but not accounting for eBay prices and shipping fees. Math is still not mathing.

so here is my situation, I am away for a few months, I don't want to miss out on this deal(which I have done in the last few years) is it possible I can add an authorized user to my account who can either order the Fold 7 phone online or instore (I know i will miss the storage discount). Has any one done that? My authorized user lives in NYC and my Spectrum service address is in Ohio.
