Limited reviews are positive. Seems like they just came out, maybe late '24. Nothing from the garagegymreviews website on them that I could find. Other YouTube videos seem to be a different version. Bought a set to try, and grabbed the $25 2-year replacement warranty.

I want a pair of adjustable DBs at this price point but the one star reviews for this scared me off. If it's using any plastic parts, it's just a matter of when not if it's going to break.

That's a known scam people have been pulling. They order something very heavy and then try to return it and sometimes Amazon, because return shipping is so expensive, will let them "dispose or give it away".

I haven't used these, but it looks like they are copying some other newer designs, which is probably good. If you don't drop them much they should be fine. I have a couple of sets of Powerblocks that I love, because the length is only proportional to how much weight is dialed in. But these are probably a good deal at $200 for 55lbs each.

I believe what you linked is cheaper at the 25 lb each level. For 55lb each, like the item listed here, is $300 on your link.

Bought it at full price and returned it. Won't recommend even at a discount as it is awkwardly big even at low weights similar to bow flex. I went with core fitness instead as it incrementally increases in size based on weight.

I have the previous generation of these… 5 years later and they're still great. I paid $150 in 2020. Only issue dirt and debris gets in the twist mechanism making it hard to twist but I have never once cleaned them in 5 year…… amazing dumbbells though 5*
