This popular deal is back on for a TV that many use as PC monitor. I have the A2 48" which work great as a monitor but its only 60hz and not AMD freesync, or NVIDIA GSync compatible like this one is.

Really ought to be $500. Also the 55" version is completely unjustified for $900+ tax
I believe it's gone on sale at that price before. If you're not in a hurry, I'd suggest waiting but if you need it now, this is still a pretty good price. It's unfortunate the discounts for open box is kind of weak this time around.
Had a question, looking to upgrade my LG C1 48" since I got screen burn on it. Is this one similar or do you guys recommend something better to upgrade too?
...and what if 55" is the ideal size for my needs?
Also, I'm not sure $550 is the best possible deal when this same item was down to $500 at this same retailer some months back.
IMO I'd rather wait out for this model to go down to $500 and/or its 55" version to get a steeper cut (the former being more likely based on historic price trend)

If 48" is the right size for your space then this will do the trick, to my knowledge there arent any othrt OLED TV's that get this cheap new in box.
If you want details on performance between the two check RTINGS.
is this your first day ever on Slickdeals?also, for your reference, this same item was down to $500 a few months ago.
It literally says Joined Apr 2013 in my tag.
Also, who cares that it was $50 less a few months ago. OLED was a premium on TVs for quite some time. OLED monitors are still premium priced. $550 is a hell of a deal for a 48" OLED. Can I wait and hope to get it $50 cheaper risking it going out of stock and never returning or is $50 worth the "sacrifice" to get it now? It is all subjective my man.

this is a deals site where folks care about maxxing out the last cent of savings they can get.
$50, relative to $500 is 10% - as subjective as it all may be, that's quite a big % delta for many whether you like it or not.

Whether I like it or not is irrelevant. You are making a fuss about an extra $50 for an OLED TV. If you can't conjure up $50 extra without going into debt, then maybe an OLED TV purchase is just not in your future, cowboy.
