nice find on Amazon, claims to be excellent condition, ordered one. won't arrive till the 20th. just need an extra throw around laptop so this looks perfect
I just bought the EliteBook 645 G10 2 days ago from e-bay for $288.
Seems very similar to this deal, but has the newer 7530u cpu. While a bit newer, pretty equal to the 5650u. Not tempted to change to this one for $8 difference. The Amazon one is since it has a larger drive and is $28 cheaper is tempting, but the only 30 day warranty is a huge turnoff.
Don't really need large storage, this is for my daughter in law for school, so this will be fine. Worse case I find a 512gb drive for cheap and swap them out (now that I think about it, I may have a rarely used desktop with a 512 or 1tb NVME drive in it that is almost empty, may just swap the two).
Apologies if this is silly question. How do we know refurbished laptops do not come with nay viruses? Granted we can format and re-install windows but not everyone can do that and even if we do would that be 100% protection?. Do you guys just scan for viruses? I am a little wary of using such a laptop bank sites etc. Need help here.

How do you know there aren't any on new laptops? It's happened before...

That's a separate topic all together but generally not expected on new. On used, it is not even necessarily intentional it could just carry over from previous usage.

Is the 2 years warranty worth the extra money at eBay?
I didn't notice that detail. I got it from same seller last week but it had the 512 gb for same price

"Maximum Memory Supported - 64GB"

If you can buy memory for it, it's expandable.
