Yeah. LG Display is set to start manufacturing what is otherwise this same panel (as well as a 34" 21:9 version) with 4K resolution in Q4 of this year, with displays coming out late Q4 or Q1.

Personally I'd wait for that unless you know that the poor pixel pitch won't bother you.

thats what im waiting on, a 5kx2k at 39", already have a different version of this 39" 1440 oled ultrawide, want a 4k ultrawide the same size so they match, plus my dual monitor arm will hold 2 39" where the 45" 5kx2k monitor they have now would be too big

I like non curved monitors. Something about the view gives me a headache. It could just be me but I love non curve ultrawides.

apparently most comments about "What's in your wallet" have been removed. I also was able to stack 45% in rewards because of a certain website that can not be named C1CB

Question: did they ever ship it to you?

I placed an order on LG.com for a monitor on July 10th, still not even a shipping confirmation today.

it takes about 7-9 days before they ship, at least in my limited experience of 4 orders in the last couple months..

Okay. Well twice I called their CS and they said it would be here by today. Still no tracking info and no delivery. Looks like I'm chatting with Amex to dispute the charge.

For a big and long monitor, if it is not curve, there is distortion of the side window bar. I have to move my body left or right. A slight curve have some immersion.

You're absolutely right. My preference for non curved comes from severe headaches.
Something about my vision gets conflicted when viewing std then curved displays.
