If you buy this and you are planning to reinstall windows. Please copy the drivers off the Windows folder first to an external drive or USB.
Copy everything in this folder "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository"
After install, you can simply point device manager to the copy of this folder, then click update driver and it will install the correct drivers.
It's also where I found out that most of these minipc companies are the same outfit. Box had kamrui on it, support replied from a GMKtek account, and when I returned it the address went to an Acemagic location.
I then wrote a perfectly fair review of my experience, and kamrui had amazon remove it for "not meeting community standards". Which is not unique when it comes to these products. About 90% of the critical reviews I bought were either removed or the manufacturer offered me money to delete the review. They also do not allow an ebay buyer to review the product.
So those great reviews, and the lack of complaints, and people suggesting that problems with these devices are rare, don't believe them.
The only one that hasn't sucked is minisforum. I've never dealt with their customer service, but the products I own don't have compatibility problems nor do they overheat.

Beelink support was very quick to respond and I did a complete install using Microsoft downloads with no issues.
YOu can also just clone the drive to it. However, if you run both machines ONLINE then the license key could be deauthorized, if you only run the first one then your license key is still fine with no issues. I've been using this method to update hardware for the past 10 years.
Clone my drive to the latest/fastest NVME and still have all my stuff.
Like I said in my original post, the only issue you might run into with newer hardware is that they are UEFI only, if your install is still LEGACY boot then will have to boot into windows recovery command line and run a BCDBOOT command to copy over the UEFI boot files instead to your boot partition (they are actually included in your Windows 10 but based on your install choice weren't copied over). That is it. I've done this over 2 dozen times, no issues.
I always install latest drivers after the migration just to be up to date.
The only issue I had was that external HD are much slower than the built in NVME (7X-14x faster) as they are using USB3.0 and are SATA.
I have a dual library setup in plex. I installed a 1 GB NVME internal drive and a 20GB external HDD.
All my new stuff goes onto the internal 1GB NVME drive first.
Then I have a robocopy nightly job that runs and moves anything more than 6 months old to the 20GB drive, since I'm likely done with them.
If you just watch straight through then the external drive is fine, but if you tend to fast forward or rewind, the speed difference from the internal drive is noticeable because those spinning disks really suck at seek and search.
You can certainly run a NAS at the same time, I am running PLEX and an UBUNTU distro on VMWARE Player all at the same time, and I'm shocked at how well this thing handles all that.
