Saw this at Home Depot, and checked other flashlight deals on Slickdeals, and only found products from Amazon or AliExpress. I see comparable lumen flashlights on sale for about the same price, figured to post here to see what everyone thinks of the deal.

Husky flashlight is dual powered, either 3 AAAs or rechargeable battery (1 included). Limited lifetime warranty as with most other Husky products, but warranty doesn't include the rechargeable battery itself.

Looks like sales price of $19.97 is in store, and it actually rang up as $24.95 but price adjusted at checkout when I showed the picture. Good luck!

before discount ,
total was 69.94
$51.00 discount
$1.48 tax

Difficult to get too excited about this deal as we have seen plenty of rechargeable flashlights with 1000-1500 lumens for $10-15. For instance you can still get the excellent Wurkkos TS10 V2 for $10 plus $4 shipping directly from Wurkkos.

https://wurkkos.com/products/ts10...tsId=11217

Or how about a pair of rechargeable, 2000 lumens flashlight for $12.

I'm with you but not with the link for the 2 pack at amazon they look like crap lights and get many bad reviews. Non replaceable batteries in them and that is never a good thing.

Don't know why you consider the second choice a crap light. A 4.2 rating from 1803 reviewers and an Amazon Choice rating are considered a respectable level of quality for a flashlight. Also they use a regular 1860 replaceable battery -- another plus for such an inexpensive flashlight. For $5.50 each I consider them a great choice (and a great improvement over the generic $5 LED flashlights of 2-3 years ago). The Wurkkos TS10 V2 main advantage is its smaller size -- making it an ideal flashlight for EDC in your pocket. This one won't fit as well in your pocket.

I thought they used a proprietary but it appears I was wrong and that was part of my negative. Still think a bit to many just stopped working reviews but for the price I guess not bad.

At this price point, I don't think that they are using a top-of-the-line 1860 battery. So I wasn't surprised that those with a failed battery would respond with a 1-star review. On the other hand, those with working flashlights tend not to leave a review. So I take the 8% 1-star reviews with a grain of salt. Regardless, I anticipate that we will eventually have to replace the batteries of all these rechargeable flashlights. At least this is a standard 1860 battery which should cost around $2-3 to replace.

You keep saying the battery is a 1860. It is a 18650.
Repped and thanks for your suggestions.

My big thing was the proprietary battery that I was wrong about and what you say sounds reasonable. I have some very cheap China lights that have near 15 years on them now and they are still going.

Thank you for the correction. You are right, there is no such thing as a 1860 battery. Don't know how that got into my head. Guess I just have too many flashlights and batteries.

Looked more closely at the battery. It is a DarkBeam, 2000 mAh. Most newer 18650 batteries have a higher 3400 mAh capacity.

As for the Wurkkos, it has a 14500 battery, with a 900 mAh capacity. The batteries in the TS10 SG flashlights which I recently purchased directly from Wurkkos, have a built-in USB-C port. So they are easily rechargeable. However the battery in the TS10 V2 which I also purchased recently from Amazon, does not have a built-in USB-C port. So I had to purchase a separate Li-ion charger for this and other Li-ion batteries (cost $5.50 on Amazon).
