I love brooks shoes but I am returning these pair. I normally get adrenaline/glycerin gts for pronation support BUT I had good luck with the updated ghost model (also in extra wide). This one makes my feet hurt immediately

There are people who buy super shoes to walk around in. It's personal and they are probably fine.

If it's ever possible, if you are lucky enough to live in a city with a real running shoe store, it's great to try on a few and see what he likes. That's kind of another downside of Amazon swallowing so many businesses up.

Yes definitely they're very comfortable.
After putting 500 miles on my shoes i throw away most of then but sometimes i keep brooks just for walking and they're still good after that many miles.

All the nurses walking around the hospital in brooks & I dont see them running anywhere, unless there's free food in break room.

I have a pair of Ghost 14s I got back in 2022 for ~$80. They are still my favorite pair of shoes. I wear them multiple times per week. Sometimes all day at work but usually just to the gym.

Same thing for me. I have big ass duck feet and these X-Wide Brooks are excellent. The only other shoe I'll wear are Hoka shoes -- extra W of course. 😁
