Seems to be the house brand of best buy. May as well get the $550 tcl from costco that has better features w/ 5 yr warranty. Nothing really "lasts" nowadays. Seems like 8-10 years is typical, while some people complain their various brands of tvs last shorter than that.

Don't know about this brand, but I have a Sony Bravia V-Series KDL-40V2500 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV purchased in 2008 still going strong and works perfectly.

Honestly it seems tvs from Samsung and Sony were built more robustly if you bought the mid to high end tvs in that 2000s era. And also they weren't smart so the manufacturer couldn't mess with software to create planned obsolescence.

It feels like modern tvs are hit or miss, because I had an xbr 46" around 2008 and it lasted about 10 years.
