Took me awhile to figure out how to submit for the rebate card.
After you activate, you go to

https://promotions.t-mobile.com/, click start a new submission. Select your phone number for the T-Mobile Gateway and hit the optional Promo Code option, it is 250395. Fill out the information and then after ~10 weeks you get the gift card via text/email.

Affirmative. Hopefully they'll make the same mistake with a primary conductor soon and the problem will work itself out naturally.

I got this exact promotion for the rely plan and modem starting June 16. Works well except for having to reconnect my fire stick to the Wi-Fi literally every single time I turn my TV on. I've tried everything and it will not stay connected. Still have not received my $200 gift card however it has only been 6 weeks. The speed is good for my area. If you don't set up auto pay right when you order service they will not give you the auto-pay discount on your first bill, even if you sign up for it before the bill hits. Not especially crazy about their customer service but for $40 a month it's decent. Update: got my $200 rebate card for the rely plan after 8 weeks.

Times are tough, decade from now we'll have much more crime because everyone will be unemployed due to the AI & robot takeover perpetrated by the 0.1%.

This is freaking fantastic!
I had needed to get quick Internet for two different properties in June and July so I decided to try this out, I really like this service. It's not the most powerful, but it works really well for our needs, and since I have Tmobile cell service, this is $35 per month per system, which is a pretty darn good deal around here at least. Three different people can be streaming shows in uhd, and each have an iPad and phone going,, and so far it hasn't skipped a beat. One of these properties is around 10 miles from the nearest restaurant (central Florida horse country). So far it's working just as well as The one we hooked up in downtown Jacksonville, (duuuval)

Anyway, I came across this thread today,, I had no idea this was a thing, I called customer service and at least they say they are pushing both prepaid cards through, despite the fact that I actually started the service in store, and I think this is supposed to be for people that sign up online. slickdeals homies just found me $400

Thanks!!

Anyone know (or have an educated guess) on how long this promotion will last for? Would love to switch or test it out to get the bonus $300, but for reasons won't be able to switch for another 2-3 months Frown

Good luck getting the rebate. Did this on the backup plan about 1-year ago and they did everything in their power to make sure i didn't get the rebate. Also, good luck finding someone to contact regarding rebate support.

Anyone game with this? If so, is the latency problematic?
I normally have a 4/5 - 5/5 signal, and over past 24 hours the latency on mine has ranged from 25-120ms (momentary spikes aside), with the mean being around 60ms. (At 7:45AM it's currently fluctuating between 80-100ms). Higher latency appears during peak times as you might expect.

Big YMMV though as there are a lot of links in the chain: quality of connection to the gateway, quality of gateway's connection to tower, how congested the tower is, speed/congestion of the backhaul, then from core network to wherever the game server is, etc.

Also, it might matter that since I'm using it as a failover, I have the $20 backup plan which may not have same priority as one of the unlimited plans.

I haven't tried to game on it, but I imagine it would be fine for the most part (depending on the game). Not sure I'd want to play an FPS on it during peak times as the latency would be all over the place.

I just don't understand that it is not available in my area, but the Lite version is available. I have used T-Mobile Internet at my house before for about a year, then I switched to Spectrum. This was 4 years ago. Why it said that it is not available in my area, maybe 4 years ago I used the lite version only. I will call customer service to verify this.
Capacity.
They only allow so many TMHI accounts in your particular area, other wise the network would become even more congested. The Lite Version is limited data and WAY too expensive.

Same with me, I had it from Nov 2023 to July 2024 and canceled, now it's shows unavailable.
It has shown available from time to time.

When did you sign up?

These change frequently, Rely used to be $100 gift card until recently.
June 3rd Snapshot shows $100 for Rely, $300 for Amplified and All IN.

If you already received your gift card, you had to have signed up before then, as it requires 60 days of service.
