The worst app redesign...ever?

What was your objective in this redesign? To make everything harder to read and scan? To make the app feel a lot like eBay?

Everything about this is wrong. Price color and size is wrong, differentiation between title and supplementing text is wrong, thumbnail image size is wrong. You created a meaningless and confusing wall of text.

Most of the alerts I click on don't load the deal. I struggle to find what is the default deal form because the names make no sense. Time to roll back and rethink the design decisions. This is hot garbage.

I hate the way this thumbs up thumbs down system works. I accidentally tap it all the time and I don't want to have it as either unless I strongly feel one way or the other. Now whenever this happens, I just downvote it now. I'm not downvoting the deal, I'm downvoting this crap redesign.

We can't sort anymore in the new redesign. Things are all smashed together and readability is significantly reduced. I'm not opposed to you guys redesigning an app - one by the way that was working really well for a long time - but at least do it incrementally and get feedback from the userbase before releasing it live. It should have rolled out in stages.

Yeah, it's bad. But given how few have found their way here, they'll probably keep it this way.

Thanks for the feedback. This is something we are looking to address by adding the ability to "unvote" a deal.

Quite a few people have found their way here to provide their feedback and also we get plenty of feedback through the app itself. Always appreciated. We are looking to continuously improve the app, so the more detailed feedback you can provide the more helpful it is. Thanks again.

This redesign is an absolute disaster. Any deal link I click on takes me to a blank web page saying 'not found'. It's literally unusable for me. I've been using slickdeals for 10+ years, and now I'm done. Not by my choice, but making it completely broken where no deal links work. Does anyone have any suggestions for an alternate app that is similar to SD?

The simple design and viewing was much better with the old style vs. this new app design. I find it very congested and just difficult to browse with.

Is there anyway to just be able to choose the "old" version?

I switched to the mobile site. In Brave browser I've enabled the dark theme aka night mode, and blocked all the elements I don't want to see, such as the footer, sticky posts, etc.
